Unpublishing Some Hubs

Fallout from "the Google Slap"
This hub is going to be short and sweet. In an effort to regain the status it lost as a result of the Google Panda algorithm update (or the "Google Slap" as many are calling it), HubPages instituted some new rules concerning what it considers to be content that is appropriate for the site.
Apparently, a hub I published about network marketing, one of the best hubs I've written, received a "dubious content" warning with the additional threat that the hub would be unpublished if I did not change it. It's hard to change an entire hub about network marketing when HubPages considers any content that discusses it to be "dubious" in nature.
One of my reasons for writing the article was to try to dispel some of the negative press that abounds on the Internet about this subject such that sites like HubPages considers any information about it to be "dubious" in nature. I guess my attempt failed as far as HubPages is concerned.
The Importance of Publishing on More than One Article Site
Therefore, I unpublished the hub, and republished it as an article on Seekyt.com.
This is one reason it's important not to put all of your "writing eggs" in one basket. At least I'm able to transfer this content to another writing site that I belong to and still earn Adsense and Amazon affiliate income on it.
The Content Is Still Available
If you are interested in reading what HubPages considers to be dubious content, then please click the link in the preceding paragraph to check it out. I'd be interested in hearing your comments about whether or not the content of the article is "dubious" in nature. I'd also be interested in hearing what you believe HubPages means by "dubious."
If I have to unpublish any more hubs, I will update this hub and add a link to the article on Seekyt so you know where to find it. It will be interesting to see if this hub gets a "dubious content" warning since I did mention the phrase that HubPages considers unworthy of discussion here.
And if you're interested in learning more about Seekyt.com, check out this hub.

Hi PW. I just read the hub you've had to transfer to Seekyt. I found it very clear, very informative, and very relevant.
I think HP does themselves a dis-service by qualifying such work as 'dubious' content.
And denies the needs of the many people who are actively and keenly seeking out more new ways to earn - online.
Let's face it, just writing articles isn't gonna make anyone rich, or even comfortably off. (Maybe that's your answer right there...)
I also rated this hub up, useful and interesting. There's no button for 'dubious' and even if there was, it wouldn't apply, from a reader's perspective.
Cheers
Ok I have bookmarked and will now check out your seekyt link. I do need more than one source of passive income.
Thanks a lot! Rated up of course.
Your article looks fabulous over there on seekyt. Wow! What a platform. I think I should sign up through your link here - Yes?
Thanks for your post! Deciding what is "quality content" is apparently a complicated process. I read an interesting article on what Google Panda uses for criteria at http://bit.ly/nxtKO6
Thank you so much for your input. I was not familiar with seekyt, but I'm going to check it out.
I also have a hub which doesn't seem to meet the Hubpages standards anymore and although I changed it, it still needs revision (at least the notification says so). I might publish it on Seekyt, but the topic is related to some of my other hubs while I don't have an article on Seekyt related to the topic in question. Oh, I also checked out the links in the email that the Hubpages team sent me (so that I can learn how does a hub meeting their standrds look like) and I was just left with question marks above my head - why are these articles better than my article? I guess, I'll never know :)
I read the article in question at Seekyt.com. I found "Network Marketing: One Answer to the Current Economic Crisis" to be well written and informative. Thanks for the information in this article too.
I've written 2 hubs I was told to redo and when I did I was told to redo them again, so I just deleted them. All you can do is write what you know and what you like and find the appropriate platform to display it. You've done a great job of that. I'm new to hub pages and well this entire get paid to write thing. I did well with e-how till they turned that site "Professional" I just wonder when this site will do so too. I hope After I start making some real money. You now actually get paid. Take care PWalker 281. Smile!
I saw your article on seekyt to be very informative and well-explained. I didn't see the content as "dubious" at all. I don't get some of the rules sometimes. I'm with you - don't put all your eggs in one basket :)
