A little bit about me ...

I've been writing just about all my life.  Language arts was my favorite subject in elementary through high school in Washington, DC.

I went on to study linguistics at Georgetown University and ended up working for the Federal government for about 12 years in personnel management, employee training and development, and instructional systems design and development. 

Then I quit to become a "beltway bandit," otherwise known as an independent contractor.  I designed and developed training programs for Uncle Sam for 21 years.  Whether as an employee or contractor, writing has always been a major part of my work. I've also been an avid journaler since the early 80s.
